Three-year outcomes after the implantation of sirolimus-eluting stent, paclitaxel-eluting stent, and zotarolimus-eluting stent for coronary artery disease in real world

Aims: To evaluate clinical detail outcome at six month intervals of PCI, of Sirolimus-Eluting Stent (SES), Paclitaxel-Eluting Stent (PES), and Zotarolimus-Eluting Stent (ZES) in our center solely.

Methods and results: To evaluate clinical detail outcome at six month intervals of PCI, of Sirolimus-Eluting Stent SES), Paclitaxel-Eluting Stent (PES), and Zotarolimus-Eluting Stent (ZES) in our center solely. From April 2007 to September 2009, we investigated continuous 2386 cases implanting Drug Elutsing stent. SES: 1322 lesions/698 patients, PES: 984 lesions/608 patients, and ZES: 80 lesions/50 patients. The primary end point was a composite of major adverse cardiac events (MACE) (death, target lesion revascularisation, target vessel revascularisation, other vessel revascularisation) after the implantation DES.

Conclusions: At 12 months TLR rate of PES group were slightly higher than SES and ZES. Even though there were no significant difference after 12 months in rates of MACE among SES, PES and ZES. All kinds of DES is acceptable concerning long-term outcome.
