What is the known unknown about TAVI?

Chairpersons: A. Cribier, N. Moat

Learning Objectives

  • To define the risks and benefits of performing TAVI in patients with important other diseases such as mitral regurgitation, coronary artery disease, pulmonary disease and poor left ventricular function
  • To learn whether TAVI can be successful in aortic regurgitation

Presentations available when logged in:

  • Should TAVI be performed in patients with significant mitral regurgitation?
  • Should PCI be performed prior to TAVI in patients with significant coronary disease?
  • Should TAVI be performed in patients with pulmonary hypertension and/or severe pulmonary disease?
  • Should TAVI be performed in patients with very poor left ventricular function?
  • Can TAVI be performed for aortic regurgitation?
