AHA 2015 - The DAPT score

In the primary DAPT study, by Robert YEH, United States, continuation of therapy at 12 months in PCI patients reduced heart attacks and stent thrombosis but increased bleeding.
The DAPT score was created in the interest of identifying DAPT patients who might derive more benefit and those who might derive more harm with continuation of therapy.  It is a user-friendly web calculator designed to help clinicians make the decision, with variables including age, presentation of the heart attack, heart attack history and smoking.
