PCR Innovators Day Paris

A one-day event connecting the Key Stakeholders in Innovation in the European Cardiovascular Community. The 2017 edition provides an opportunity to network within a structured programme focusing on unmet clinical needs in the landscape of interventional cardiovascular medicine, with the ultimate goal of improving patient care and outcomes.

EAPCI - Fellows Course

The European association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI) will be hosting its Fellows Course at EuroPCR 2017. This course is designed to aid the continued development of medical doctors who have started or have recently completed a programme of training in interventional cardiology.

The EAPCI Fellows Course will give a broad overview of the basics of PCI.

When? Monday 15 May 2017 — all day — and Tuesday morning 16 May 2017.

PCR Clinical Research

PCR Clinical Research

The mission of the new PCR Clinical Research initiative is to highlight the fundamental link between clinical research and best clinical care, with the ultimate goal of addressing the needs of the patient. After its successful launch in 2015, the PCR Clinical Research Course has become an integral part of the EuroPCR 2017 Programme.

When? Four units specially devoted to Clinical Research will be held on Thursday 18 May 2017 during EuroPCR.

The joint initiative between the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI), a registered branch of the ESC and EuroPCR is an European platform for interventional cardiologists, government representatives, industry partners, patient groups and patients to work together, and, by shaping the health care systems and medical practices, to ensure that the majority of ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients have an equal access to the life saving indication of p-PCI.
