EuroPCR will once more be providing the ideal venue and opportunity for specific communities to gather, immediately prior to the Course or within its own Programme. Find out more about these particular initiatives and the communities they will bring together at the Palais des Congrès Porte Maillot.

A project of the New Initiatives For Young Interventionists Committee, it is designed to aid the continued development of medical doctors who have started or have recently completed a programme of training in interventional cardiology.
The dedicated 1½ day Course puts emphasis on practical aspects, brought by interactive case discussions and supported by the input of experts.
It provides a unique platform for education, networking and the building of future careers.
When? Monday 21 and Tuesday morning 22 May 2018
Made By and For Interventional Cardiologists, this Course aims to increase the proficiency of interventional teams across the world as the discipline becomes the first-choice therapeutic option for the majority of patients affected by peripheral vascular disease. The educational Programme is integrated at EuroPCR and consists of two tracks adapted to different levels of experience, including LIVE demonstration, Learning sessions, case discussions and abstracts.

PCR Peripheral for Beginners - Tuesday afternoon 22 May 2018
This initiative follows the success of Stent for Life and takes the project to reduce mortality and morbidity in patients suffering from ACS to a global level. The 2018 Annual Forum offers the opportunity to assess the results of the new orientation given to the initiative one year after its launch, and is an excellent opportunity for all physicians and allied health professionals interested in STEMI to exchange experiences and best practices for improving patient care.
When? Monday 21 May 2018
This dedicated set of sessions developed by and for Nurses and Allied Professionals in interventional cardiology is a fully integrated part of the official Programme of EuroPCR. The 2018 edition will see a focus on patient care and safety, patient pathways and standards of care. Throughout the Course, facilitators will ensure there are plenty of opportunities for participants to interact with their peers, in predominantly case-based sessions.
