Hot Topics:

This year, Coronary Disease and Structural Heart Disease will be in the spotlight. Therefore, the Programme will include a variety of LIVE demonstrations, learning sessions and plenaries devoted to relevant topics such as:

  • Complex PCI
  • TAVI
  • CTO

What's new this year?

"2017 year in review": a comprehensive overview of the year's most relevant results & data

  • This new 45 minutes session will take participants over the most conspicuous clinical results and data released all through 2017, offering participants a chance to get updated. 

Complications and Challeging cases: audience-centered sessions

  • The Complications and Challenging cases sessions have been revamped this year. Once the case is presented by the speaker, an open discussion with the audience will be engaged. Participants will be encouraged to share how they would treat the patient. 

"Evidence-practice disconnect": new segment for all sessions

  • At the end of every session, a 10 minutes lecture will summarise evidence related to the discused topic, and will compare it to daily practice. The ultimate goal of this segment is to analyze the subtilities that might set evidence and practice apart.


By and For the Middle East interventionalists

GulfPCR-GIM primary aim is to serve the needs of the interventional practice in the Middle East region and this year's Programme perfectly complies with this principle. All sessions have been conceived By and For interventionalists of the region, keeping the specificities of the middle-eastern patients as the prime guideline.
