Editorial

On behalf of the PCR Peripheral Board, we are delighted to inform you that the PCR Peripheral Course, held last year in Istanbul, Turkey, will move to Italy. What better city to welcome us for this international Course than the last host of the Universal Exposition—exciting Milan!

Beyond delivering practical education and training to worldwide interventional cardiologists desirous to become involved in peripheral interventions, one of the main intentions of PCR Peripheral Course is also to reach out and connect with national interventional cardiology communities active in the management of patients with peripheral disease—last year, we reached out to the Turkish delegation and this year, we wish to extend our network and englobe the Italian community.

Course contents

As present participants provided extremely positive feedback, we are continuing to provide two parallel sessions throughout the Course:

  • Main Arena with continuous LIVE case emission, transmitted from Istanbul, Milan and Bad Krozingen, featuring peripheral cases from head to toe
  • Learning Room with A to Z practical “how to” sessions from access routes to stroke intervention, facilitated by trained and experienced peers

New features

  • In this next edition, we will integrate case-based contents led by six National Societies in the How Should I Treat? format.

Lastly, Industry Partners will continue to enrich the Scientific Programme with complementary Sponsored sessions throughout the Course.
We look forward to welcoming you to Milan, this coming 10-12 November 2016, at the Milan Marriott Hotel, ideally situated in the city centre and easily accessible.
Join us for another exciting edition of PCR Peripheral, a Course dedicated to peripheral interventions, crafted By and For interventional cardiologists, worldwide.
