Summary

This session provides perspectives from three different continents on the management of complex TAVI cases. It features case presentations and discussions on topics such as TAVR for the correction of aortic pseudoaneurysm, TAV-in-TAV intervention, and the management of aortic stenosis in patients with hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy. The session emphasizes the importance of considering comorbidities and other percutaneous cardiac procedures when planning TAVI, as well as the need for personalized approaches to optimize patient outcomes. Attendees will gain insights into tackling complicated TAVI procedures and learn how to integrate various clinical considerations into their decision-making process.

Learning Objectives

  • To learn how comorbidities and other percutaneous cardiac procedures can affect workup for TAVI
  • To get perspectives on how to tackle complicated TAVI procedures
  • To learn how personalised medicine also includes TAVI patients
