In line with its commitment to deliver practical, patient-focused education tailored to regional realities, and inspired by the founding vision of Honorary Chairman Jean Marco, PCR is proud to have launched the PCR Global Interventional Academy. By empowering interventional cardiologists with transformative learning, it aims to advance best practices in patient care around the globe and create a unique worldwide network.

The Academy’s first initiative is two independent educational programmes supported by Meril and hosted in their network of Regional academic centres. The programmes focus on coronary interventions and structural heart disease, each one offering a one-year pathway that combines onsite courses with virtual classrooms. They will run over a five-year period and aim to provide high-quality education to a total of 1,400+ physicians across all continents.

Good to know

  • Content is tailored for interventional cardiologists at an advanced stage of their training or already in practice
  • All educational material is in the English language
  • Attendance is mandatory for all of the pathway’s onsite and online events
  • Certificates and CME accreditation are based on participation
  • The selection of participants will be at the discretion of steering committee members
