PCR Mitral Focus Group

Promoting innovation and aligning care in mitral valve disease

ABOUT THE PCR MITRAL FOCUS GROUP

The mission of this Focus Group is to promote innovation and improve adaptation by increasing understanding of disease, advancing therapeutic standards based on phenotypes, and developing tools to address unmet needs, while aligning knowledge, standardising practice, and facilitating collaboration among physicians and associations.

Launched in 2025, the PCR Mitral Focus Group is dedicated to making mitral valve disease easier to understand and manage. By uniting specialists across disciplines, it aims to clarify patient selection, support education, and bring consistency to both established and emerging therapies.
