PCR MCS Focus Group

The mission of this Focus Group is to improve the outcome of patients with or at risk of acute cardiac failure requiring mechanical cardiocirculatory support (MCS), by creating a transdisciplinary platform to share knowledge and spread appropriate implementation.

Launched in 2025, this PCR Focus Group is directed at MCS "mechanical circulatory support" - a well-established therapy that still raises uncertainty and debate. Using educational offerings tailored for the worldwide interventional community, it aims to promote awareness, to achieve alignment among the different stakeholders, and to drive implementation of treatment strategies.
