Discover NUI Galway School of Medicine's new Masters in Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine, delivered in collaboration with PCR
Applications are currently open for the course that can be followed via distance learning, for one-year full time from September 2022. Blended self-directed learning tracks will be defined with the students. In order to achieve their objectives, the programme may include participation in PCR Courses or Seminars.
The academic programme is designed to enhance the understanding of diagnostics and interventional treatment, by focusing on clinical knowledge, clinical decision-making, research methodology, professionalism and interpersonal skills.

Medical graduates and doctors with a minimum of one year’s postgraduate experience, as well as biomedical engineers in the R&D sector of the medical device industry

The curriculum will cover coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, vascular intervention and medical device innovation

PCR will provide access to a wide range of educational tools such as Courses and webinars, enabling students to craft a self-directed learning experience in addition to the core modules
