Since the outset back in 1989, PCR has always used the best educational tools for the effective sharing of knowledge, skills and experience between the active participants of its Courses. Over the years, different session formats have evolved, through the application of innovative teaching methods and the implementation of new technical means as they came into being.
Session formats
Each session format is tailored to best suit the corresponding learning objectives, and takes into account essential factors such as the level of experience or the access to cathlab material that the targeted participants enjoy.

Presentation and discussion of the results of original scientific work submitted to the PCR Calls for Abstracts
The name speaks for itself! All you need to know in a nutshell: an update on practice and evidence on a specific topic
Sessions built around the presentation of cases which leads to a discussion on a broader topic
Presentation and discussion pf challenging or/and complicated cases among peers, selected from the Call for Clinical Cases
Presentation and discussion of the primary outcomes of clinically relevant trials (Late Breaking Trials) and releasing primary or follow-up results of trials and registries (Hot Line) - Selected from the Call for Hotline / Late-Breaking Trials
These sessions are made to teach and share the optimal treatment options for challenging cases. Each case presentation is structured in a way that the audience can put themselves in the operator's position and reflect on how they would have treated this patient in their environment.
Presentation and discussion of the latest innovations in technologies having reached the level of first-in-man evaluation, selected from the Call for Innovations
A lecture on a specific theme, a hot topic, an update, etc.
Learning sessions are articulated around daily practice cases and techniques; the format provides you with highly-relevant factual learnings that respond to common challenges
An unparalleled educational experience during which you can learn how to perform an optimal intervention by watching a step-by-step LIVE case
An experienced facilitator presents one of their cases with the aim to share their tips and tricks at each step of the procedure, while a fellow has prepared questions. You are in the expert’s cathlab!
This innovative Course provides a coherent learning experience that enables participants to confidently play new roles or become a more proficient actors in the clinical research field, both as individuals and as a team
