1. Clinician Innovator and interventional cardiologist with greater than 25 years of clinical experience and over 3000 cases performed as a primary operator of percutaneous coronary intervention.
Dr Wong has attended to greater than 20,000 outpatient visits over this period.

Deputy Director, National Heart Center Research Institute Singapore, a newly formed stand alone research entity of the National Heart Center, comprising a 40,000 sq foot state of art basic research facility, Bio-banking and stem cell facility with 30+ research staff, focusing on Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell research and small experimental model imaging in the cardiovascular arena.
This facility incorporates a full suite GMP facility for cell processing on suite to the cardiac labs and operating theaters.
Dr Wong conceptualized and planned the NHRIS facility. Prior to this, Dr Wong led the Research & Development Unit of the NHCS since 2003.
