Professor Tan is currently the Director of National University Heart Centre Singapore (NUHCS), Senior Consultant Cardiologist at the National University Hospital, and a board member of the Singapore Heart Foundation. He is also a founding member of Asia Interventional Cardiovascular Therapeutics (AICT), past President of the Singapore Cardiac Society, as well as previous President of the Asian Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology (APSIC) from 2014 to 2019.
