17 May 2024 – From EuroPCR 2024
This session explores the latest insights and strategies for managing out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) patients. Key topics include identifying OHCA patients who may benefit from immediate cathlab admission, the default PCI strategy in OHCA, and how to organize an effective OHCA network. Discussions will cover estimating...

Multivessel disease PCI guided by physiology and IVUS - LIVE case
16 May 2024 – From EuroPCR 2024
A 78-year-old woman with hypertension, dyslipidemia, and obesity, presented with angina CCS2 and preserved LV function. The coronary angiogram showed stenosis in the RCA (proximal and mid), CX, and calcified proximal and mid LAD involving D1 and D2.
The operators performed PCI on the RCA (1 stent)...

Management of ACS patient with cardiogenic shock
16 May 2024 – From EuroPCR 2024
This session focuses on the management of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) patients with cardiogenic shock. It covers the differences between various mechanical support devices, discusses how to integrate RCT-derived data into clinical practice, and explores the best use of mechanical support devices. The session features case...

Tools and technologies guiding decision making in bifurcation PCI
15 May 2024 – From EuroPCR 2024
In this session, discover that provisional stenting in routine non-LM bifurcation using Resolute Onyx DES yields good mid-term outcomes without side branch intervention, provided the stent is sized to the distal reference and the side branch remains patent after a systematic POT. Learn how bifurcation stenting...

Mechanical circulatory support in cardiogenic shock: where are we now?
14 May 2024 – From EuroPCR 2024
In this EuroPCR 2024 interview, Alaide Chieffo and Gabor Toth discuss mechanical circulatory support in cardiogenic shock and myocardial infarction. They address the ECLS-SHOCK trial's lack of benefit from prophylactic ECMO, stressing improved patient selection and timing. They contrast this with the DanGer Shock study, where...
