Best of science and education in cardiovascular interventional medicine in 2024
2024 in focus: a look at the most popular and impactful content on PCRonline.com
Dear Colleagues, dear PCR Companions,
As we welcome a new year, it is the perfect time to reflect on what we achieved together over the past year—both as a celebration of our successes and as motivation to continue improving in the year ahead.
2024 was a record year for the website with over 5,7 million page views and 1,7 million visits. This major achievement is thanks to the contribution of thousands of healthcare professionals, who share their content with their community throughout the year.
An example of this is cases & complications shared after PCR Courses as Resources. Furthermore, in the last year we had 34 Journal club articles, led by Nicola Ryan, 5 new My Toolkits, led by Chiara De Biase and Christian Frerker, an extensive coverage of the main cardiology congresses thank to the Editorial Board and Journal club contributors, many Read & Share cases, and educational cases submitted by the Euro4C Group with Flavio Ribichini and Pierre Deharo. We were also delighted to host Jean Marco’s series on the history of interventional cardiology.
In 2024: we launched the editorialisation of LIVE cases to improve the learning experience post-Course of this high-quality content, thanks to the work of Martine Gilard. We also initiated a completely new section, called “The Essentials”, an initiative involving the creation of tailor-made content based on important emerging scientific or educational topics. Last but not least, Dejan Milasinovic introduced the Heart to heart conversations, streamed live on social media and available as a podcast.
2024 was a record year for the website. This major achievement is thanks to the contribution of thousands of healthcare professionals, committed to advancing the practice of interventional cardiovascular medicine - together.
Thank you!
