Objectives:
Join us if you want to:
- Describe the potential benefits of metal-free PCI destination therapy
- Create an algorithmic approach to lesion preparation decision making when planning DCB only
- Understand what factors during PCI lead to the switch from DCB to DES
- Discuss the potential advantages of combining DCB and DES compared to either strategy alone

Discover the case that will be discussed
Prepare for the webinar by viewing part one of the case presentation: Tailoring PCI: from full metal jacket to waistcoat. A 38-year-old male with class III angina is referred for coronary angiography following a positive myocardial perfusion scan. The angiogram shows functionally occluded PDA as well as significant disease in the proximal, mid, and distal RCA. After wiring and predilating PDA, TIMI-III flow in PDA is observed.
Reflect now on how you would manage this case, and discover how it was done on 19 March!
Keen to learn more about DCB?
Consult the PCR-EAPCI Textbook chapter on drug-coated balloons, written by Bruno Scheller.
It’s a perfect complement to the PCR Webinar: “Why and when to use DCB?”.
