Summary

Consult this session to learn about the treatment options for patients with complex anatomy not suitable for operative revascularisation, the strategies for lesion preparation in left main coronary artery in stable and ACS patient and for left main coronary artery stenting in high-risk patients.

Learning Objectives

  • To discuss the incidence of patients with complex anatomy not suitable for operative revascularisation and to comment the treatment options in this group of patients
  • To discuss present strategies for lesion preparation in left main coronary artery in stable and ACS patient and to show different strategies of left main coronary artery stenting (one stent, two stents, dedicated stent) in high-risk patients with complex anatomy
  • To show ultrasound-based distal radial access site for left main coronary artery intervention
