Imaging to the rescue

Session comprising selected GulfPCR-GIM 2025 clinical case submissions

Facilitators: A. Al Jabri, M. Almohammadi

Summary

This session highlighted the pivotal role of advanced intracoronary imaging techniques, particularly OCT, in complex case management such as in-stent restenosis and thrombus evaluation. Through real-world cases, it demonstrated how imaging complements physiology to guide therapeutic decisions, including the use of drug-coated balloons beyond native coronary arteries.

Presentations available when logged in:

  • OCT: a blessing for an in-stent restenosis patient
  • Thrombus formation at the LAD and left circumflex origins following LAD stenting
  • Unveiling the hidden road
  • Imaging or physiology: who is the winner?
  • Use of drug-coated balloon beyond native coronary arteries: treatment of SVG in-stent restenosis
