Calcified coronary lesions: procedural techniques - Part 1

Session comprising selected EuroPCR 2024 Clinical Case submissions

Summary

This session will feature a series of selected clinical case submissions from EuroPCR 2024, focusing on procedural techniques for the management of calcified coronary lesions. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore various strategies, including the use of angio-based FFR, OCT, rotational atherectomy, and drug-coated balloons, as well as the application of novel technologies like laser-based intravascular lithotripsy. The session will provide valuable insights and practical tips for navigating these complex coronary interventions.

Presentations available when logged in:

  • PCI in severe calcific long lesion: angio-based FFR, OCT, Rotablator and DCB alone strategy
  • Long coronary lesion treated with a novel laser and optics based coronary intravascular lithotripsy system
  • A new chapter in an old story
  • High-risk protected PCI: a multidisciplinary approach to a complex femoral access scenario
  • PCI in patients with heavy coronary calcification and haemodynamic instability
  • Breaking the rocks in darkness
  • Just a mid right coronary artery lesion
