INOCA - MINOCA and nonatherosclerotic coronary artery disease

Session comprising selected EuroPCR 2024 Clinical Case submissions

Summary

This session focuses on the diagnosis and management of INOCA (Ischemia with Non-Obstructive Coronary Arteries), MINOCA (Myocardial Infarction with Non-Obstructive Coronary Arteries), and other nonatherosclerotic coronary artery diseases. It presents a series of cases highlighting the use of invasive assessment tools like acetylcholine provocation, microvascular analysis, and full physiology evaluation to identify the underlying mechanisms driving ischemia, such as vasospasm, microvascular dysfunction, and myocardial bridging. The discussions provide valuable insights into tailoring treatment strategies for these complex conditions.

Presentations available when logged in:

  • Treatment of patient with vasospastic angina and ventricular arrhythmia
  • Microvascular dysfunction causing refractory angina: a promising interventional solution
  • Invasive assessment of myocardial bridge: resting full-cycle ratio during dobutamine stress test
  • Spontaneous coronary artery dissection: is this a benign pathology?
  • Symptomatic myocardial bridging in a woman with previous SCAD
  • Full physiology assessment: a complex case of multiple ischemia driven mechanisms
  • Assessment of aberrant LAD using acetylcholine provocation test and microvascular analysis
