Summary

This session presents a comprehensive overview of innovative interventions addressing complex structural heart conditions, including tricuspid and mitral valve diseases. Highlights include clinical experiences from the PESCAMI registry on mitral indirect annuloplasty, advanced percutaneous procedures for large pulmonary arteriovenous malformations, and transcatheter bicaval valve implantation for severe tricuspid regurgitation. Additionally, it covers unique cases such as endovascular closure of post-oesophagectomy aorto-conduit fistula and management of torrential tricuspid regurgitation in rheumatic multivalvular disease.

Presentations available when logged in:

  • PESCAMI registry: a single center experience with mitral indirect anuloplasty
  • Percutaneous closure of a large PAVM in a patient with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia
  • Mitral valve-in-valve, acute left ventricular failure and coagulopathy
  • Managing torrential tricuspid regurgitation in a rheumatic multivalvular maze
  • Unusual pulmonary embolism
  • Aortic stenting for totally occluded aorta
  • Transcatheter bicaval valve implantation for symptomatic severe tricuspid regurgitation in right heart failure
  • Endovascular closure of post-oesophagectomy aorto-conduit fistula using covered CP stent
  • Percutaneous transvenous mitral commissurotomy in a young woman with prior mitral valve repair for a rheumatic mitral regurgitation
