Summary

This session addresses the optimal management of non-culprit lesions (NCL) in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and multivessel disease. Learn about angiography, imaging, and FFR-guided strategies, timing considerations for PCI in high-risk NSTEMI patients, and patient selection for early staged PCI post-STEMI through detailed case discussions.

Learning Objectives

  • To consider for better treatment: angiography, imaging, or FFR-guided approaches for managing non-culprit lesions in patients with ACS and multivessel disease
  • To determine the optimal timing for PCI (immediate vs. staged) of NCLs in high-risk NSTEMI patients with multivessel disease
  • To identify patients for whom very early staged PCI post STEMI may not represent the safest treatment option

Presentations available when logged in:

  • Case 1 - Strategic PCI in high-risk NSTEMI with multivessel disease
  • How would I treat case 1?
  • Case 1 treatment
  • Case 2 - Non-culprit PCI strategies in STEMI with multivessel disease: when less is more (or more is better?)
  • How would I treat case 2?
  • Case 2 treatment
  • Key learnings Case 2
  • Session evaluation and key learnings
