Summary

Confront the challenges posed by coronary calcium through innovative stent avoidance and in-stent restenosis treatment strategies. This session features analyses on the feasibility of intravascular lithotripsy (IVL) alone, its use prior to drug-coated balloon angioplasty, and in treating in-stent restenosis. Outcomes following IVL-assisted PCI are reviewed alongside comparisons of excimer laser atherectomy as a standalone or combined modality.
