Summary

This session presents complex mitral valve intervention cases highlighting procedural challenges and innovative solutions. It includes management of embolised transcatheter mitral valve replacements (TMVR), bailout redo transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER), complications such as acute hypoxia and atrial wall perforations, and the application of TAVI skills in complex percutaneous mitral commissurotomy, along with management of intra-procedural ruptures in rheumatic disease.
