Summary

This session addresses the challenges associated with bifurcation lesion PCI, focusing on procedural complications, novel classification systems for in-stent restenosis, and plaque characterization near side branches. It reviews clinical outcomes of Drug-Coated Balloon (DCB) treatments for side branch lesions, the influence of drug-eluting balloon strategies, and insights from the OCTOBER trial on stenting techniques and patient outcomes in true bifurcation lesions.
