When less is better - Differentiated therapies to safely achieve TR 0-1+
Sponsored by Edwards Lifesciences
Summary
Therapeutic goals in tricuspid regurgitation are evolving, with increasing emphasis on achieving near-complete elimination of regurgitation (TR 0–1+) through differentiated transcatheter strategies.
This EuroPCR 2026 session explores how transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) and transcatheter tricuspid valve replacement (TTVR) can be used in a complementary way to reach this new target. It highlights the clover technique using the PASCAL Precision system as a safe and effective approach for TEER, alongside evidence, simulation data and case-based insights supporting optimal outcomes with the EVOQUE TTVR system.
Through a combination of clinical data and practical examples, the session outlines how tailored device selection and refined procedural strategies can help improve results in patients with tricuspid regurgitation, moving toward more consistent achievement of TR 0–1+.
