Reliability and application of angio-based physiology in daily work

Session comprising selected EuroPCR 2026 abstract submissions

Moderators: S. Ceni, S. Nijjer

Summary

This session evaluates the reliability and clinical application of angiography-based physiological assessments in daily practice. Topics include comparisons of angiography-derived microvascular resistance and flow metrics with invasive methods, reproducibility of quantitative flow ratio (QFR), and its correlation with symptom burden and other imaging modalities.

Presentations available when logged in:

  • Angiography-based µFR for coronary flow and microvascular resistance vs. invasive doppler
  • High reproducibility of QFR with a newer software version: the QREPeat study
  • Reproducibility of online vs. offline QFR and long-term results: post-hoc analysis of FAVOR III China
  • Quantitative flow ratio in predicting residual angina: is it better than the eye?
  • Quantitative flow ratio in real-world practice: comparison with FFR and learning curve
  • Discordance between µFR and stress CMR in non-culprit lesions after STEMI
