Managing antiplatelet/antithrombotic use for high-bleeding risk patients

In the past, a short DAPT with regular regimen was recommended for these patients, but it is now much more elaborated, as a standardized nomenclature has been established, proposing 3 types of escalation for these HBR patients: the escalation by switch, meaning that drug is changed, the escalation by dose-reduction, when the drug dose is changed, and the escalation by discontinuation, which means that the drug number is changed.
