Integrate solutions to address current challenges in the treatment of complex PCI
Supported by Meril
Summary
At EuroPCR 2026, Ashok Seth, Andreas Baumbach and Sasko Kedev discuss how the management of complex coronary artery disease has evolved over the past decade.
As patient and lesion complexity continues to increase, operators are faced with challenges ranging from severe calcification and renal dysfunction to diabetes and acute coronary syndromes. At the same time, advances in imaging, physiology, calcium modification and device technology have expanded the therapeutic options available in the cathlab.
This discussion explores how these tools can be integrated into a patient-centred treatment strategy and considers the future role of less permanent implantation approaches in PCI.
