EuroPCR 2026 - Information for members of the Press
Access full details and register for the world’s leading Course in interventional cardiovascular medicine
We are excited to welcome journalists and members of the press, whether it’s your first or fifth time, to join us at EuroPCR 2026, 19-22 May 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to report and share the latest news in interventional cardiology. In person and virtual attendance are both possible!
Press registration for EuroPCR is open to accredited members of the press, free of charge. Only media with the express intention of reporting on EuroPCR 2026 will be given access to the Course. To receive complimentary access, journalists will be asked for proof of credentials, e.g., valid press card, letter of assignment from a recognised publication, or copies of recently published work (published with the last 24 months).
Press registration is open to any media outlet and/or its press representative*:
- Journalists/reporters
- Freelance journalists (must declare who they represent)
- Online media
- Broadcast media (TV, radio)
- Medical journals
- Newsletters
We strongly urge members of the press to register for the Course to ensure you receive all relevant embargoed press material through our Press Portal and avoid missing out on the key materials emanating from the Course.
Completion of this application does NOT constitute acceptance of your application; you will receive a separate notice confirming your acceptance for EuroPCR. Access to EuroPCR 2026 will be issued at the discretion of the Press Coordinator.
On-site Registration
Please be aware that on-site registration is not recommended and may take a good deal of time. We highly recommend that journalists to use the online registration process.
Access to the Course
- For those who are preregistered and coming to Paris: if using our online registration, once your application has been accepted, you will receive a badge pick-up voucher by email a few days prior to the event. Please download it, save it to your smartphone and/or print it and bring it with you in order to retrieve your badge.
- For those of you who will be attending virtually: by using our online registration, once your application has been accepted, you will be sent an email, shortly before the start of the Course, containing access instructions via your My PCR account. This access will allow you virtual attendance to the Course.
If you do not have a My PCR account, please create one on the PCRonline website:
As a registered member of the Press, you may be given access to information in advance of its official release. This information is provided under embargo.
For all results and presentations at sessions at EuroPCR 2026, including the Late-Breaking Trials/Hotline sessions, the embargo is lifted at the beginning of the session where the information is being publicly presented, unless you are otherwise informed. A presentation at a prior press conference does not lift the embargo.
For the oral and poster abstract-based presentations, the embargo is lifted when they are published on PCRonline and on the PCR app.
Breaking of the embargo policy by a reporter leads to:
- immediate suspension of the reporter’s media credentials;
- immediate barring of the reporter from the meeting premises and/or immediate cancellation of the reporter’s PCR account and their access to the press platform;
- removal of the reporter’s name from the PCR press distribution list for 1 year;
- no access as a media representative to any other congresses organised by PCR for 1 year, either in person or as a virtual participant (as of embargo break);
- media outlets that employ the reporter or who hired the freelancer to write for them will be barred from accessing next year’s EuroPCR and from registering reporters to any other PCR Courses for at least 1 year.
Breaking of an embargo by another (non-media) party will be equally pursued.
By submitting your application for press credentials to EuroPCR 2026, you implicitly agree to the above rules for all PCR courses.
We would like to remind journalists that PCR retains copyright on all EuroPCR 2026 content.
It is strictly forbidden to record or capture in any way the official PCR branding, programme, exhibition and/or posters presented during the meeting, unless prior written approval has been given.
As a rule, the Press are not permitted to take photographs or to film inside the Palais de Congrès. Cameras with tripods may only be used in the interview rooms within the Press Room. The on-site Press Room will have interview rooms which can be reserved for these interviews.
Requests to film outside of the Press room must be made in writing to the Press Coordinator prior to the start of the Course, specifying exactly who, what, where and when they want to film. Notification of the intent to use film or sound equipment must be made when the journalist applies to register.
Use of film and sound equipment, without permission, will result in the journalists being asked to leave the Congress.
Photos and presentation slides are available from the Press room on request.
If you have any questions regarding this policy, or how it applies to you, please contact Isabelle Uzielli, the Press Coordinator.
A dedicated Press room in the Palais des Congrès is available and reserved for journalists, providing the following facilities:
- Laptop connections and a printer
- Small studio spaces for your photography, audio and video interviewing needs
- Issues of the Daily, the journal of EuroPCR
- Complimentary copies of EuroIntervention and other Europa Organisation publications
- Coffee, tea and other refreshments as well as lunch bags
- Lunch buffets will be available throughout the Palais des Congrès
PLEASE NOTE OUR LOCATION FOR 2026:

We will routinely be updating the Press Portal with information pertaining to the Course and the programme content/sessions, as well as with the slides and other materials from the presentations.
The Press Portal will be accessible (specific date and time to be confirmed) at the latest the morning of Tuesday 19 May, with no access before that date.
Although not eligible for press passes, the Press Office does offer certain services to Industry and/or their communications or PR companies.
As of the end of April, upon request, we can send you regularly updated lists of registered press, for those members of the press who have given us authorisation to release their information.
We can also distribute electronic versions of your Press Releases to journalists who are registered for the Course through our press portal; these can be distributed to them before the lift of the embargo as all journalists registered are bound to uphold the EuroPCR embargo policy.
We can also facilitate posting of your Press Releases on PCRonline.
Please submit the Press Releases to Isabelle Uzielli [email protected] in Word or PDF format and include:
- The name of your company in the title identifying your Word or PDF document
