Discover how our participants’ steps brought support to the RESIL-Card project
PCR was delighted to collaborate on a worthy and fun step-count challenge powered by Medtronic in aid of the RESIL-Card project. Over 4 days, #EuroPCR participants collectively covered more than 4000 kilometres - the equivalent to nearly 12,000 climbs up the Eiffel Tower in the CardioLeague challenge, with participants from France, United States and Spain covering the greatest distance! Huge thanks to all who helped to increase Medtronic’s donation for the RESIL-Card project to the maximum of €20,000!
What is the RESIL-Card project?
This EU-funded initiative is led by the advocacy programme We CARE. It aims to draw lessons from the COVID pandemic to develop a ground-breaking 'resilience assessment toolkit'. This will in turn help cardiovascular stakeholders enhance the preparedness and resilience of their care pathways in times of major crises.
This year your participation at the World Leading Course in interventional cardiovascular medicine has contributed in a novel way to a more resilient European healthcare system.
