- Centre: Department of Cardiology, University Clinical Hospital, Poznań, Poland.
- Experience in hosting fellows: Our centre has been hosting international fellows for over 20 years. We have welcomed trainees from Poland, Austria, Jordan, Hong Kong, Ukraine, and numerous other countries, providing diverse clinical exposure and mentorship.
- Research activities of the Host Centre: Our centre conducts research across the entire spectrum of cardiology and cardiovascular disease. We are actively involved in numerous clinical trials and maintain a strong publication record. Our 2025 publication number was 130, with a total Impact Factor of 464.
- Education activities of the Host Centre: As a university teaching centre, we deliver comprehensive medical education to students in their 3rd through 6th year of studies, with programmes available in both Polish and English. The department currently trains approximately 40 cardiology residents.
- Additional Information: The Department will relocate to a new state-of-the-art hospital facility in September of this year. We offer comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services in cardiology and cardiac surgery, including LVAD implantation and heart transplantation.
