“Percutaneous valve intervention in a global market – a big deal”
by David J. Cohen

A Choice of Essential and Applied learning sessions
Once again this year’s Programme specifically provides you with a clarified choice of essential and applied learning: the former reaching out to those who are relatively new to the field, and the latter to those managing more advanced and challenging levels of procedures.
Late-breaking trials
PCR London Valves is the place to be for keeping up-to-date with innovation in transcatheter therapies for valvular heart disease! This year, dedicated sessions will allow you to discover pioneering studies in the field.

Case-based learning for the Heart Valve Team sessions
Dedicated sessions will aim at appreciating the role of the Heart Team in the assessment of patients with valvular disease, to understand how clinical and anatomical characteristics can influence patient and device selection and to become more familiar with the knowledge and skills required to perform specific transcatheter interventions.
Spotlight on transcatheter mitral valve repair
Plan to participate in this session where you’ll hear all about where the latest randomised evidence is leading (MITRA-FR and other upcoming studies) and participate in discussions on the implications for your clinical practice.

Controversy: TAVI - is durability a lasting concern?
Join the experts in the Main Arena to hear the latest data on the durability of TAVI devices, share your opinion and engage in a discussion on the implications for clinical practice. Participate in a census of current opinion on this key topic! Supported by an unrestricted educational grant from Edwards Lifesciences.
Focus on Imaging
The Course will kick off with an entirely practical Imaging Day. Hallmark feature of PCR London Valves, it symbolises the key interaction between specialists in imaging and intervention that underpins the activities of the Heart Valve Team.
The focus on imaging will last throughout the Course, particularly during the LIVE demonstrations (incorporating detailed imaging analysis) and new interactive sessions in the Imaging Sharing Centre.

Focus on Nurses and Allied Professionals
Built By and For the Heart Team, PCR London Valves has designed a particular focus for the Nurses and Allied Professionals. Educative sessions that will be of particular interest to them will be held on Tuesday 11 September.
HeartLab Training workshops
If you want to learn how to perform Transseptal puncture correctly attend these hands-on training workshops, in which you will learn how to:
- Perform left-heart structural interventions and safely puncture the septum
- Understand the role of multimodality imaging guidance

PCR Innovators Day London
