Summary

The programme reviews current diagnostic and treatment pathways, including guideline-based management and the role of surgical aortic valve replacement, while examining the growing potential of transcatheter approaches in this challenging population.

Through dedicated case discussions, the speakers presents the use of the JenaValve Trilogy System, currently the only CE-marked device approved for the treatment of both severe aortic regurgitation and aortic stenosis.

The session also looks ahead to the future of TAVI for aortic regurgitation, highlighting ongoing developments and upcoming clinical research, including the ARTIST trial.
