PCR is proud to announce the launch of a new educational workshop for TAVI practitioners in Sao Paulo, Brazil. With the practice of TAVI rapidly emerging in Latin America, this initiative responds to the need for high-quality education in order to provide the best possible treatment for the region’s patients.

PCR, TCT and a regional core team = Partners in learning
The TAVI Workshop is being developed by a team of dynamic interventionalists from PCR, in collaboration with the scientific symposium Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT), and a regional core team of leading practitioners. Its aims at teaching and empowering the Latin-American cardiovascular community to use the latest techniques and treatments.
A case-based, practical Programme
The two-day Programme will consist of flexibility-timed sessions that focus on daily practice TAVI procedures, in an innovative and highly interactive fashion. It will include:
- Focus on hands-on experience in pre-, peri-, and post-procedural care for patients undergoing transcatheter valve interventions
- LIVE in a box® sessions that call upon recorded LIVE demonstrations as a unique educational tool to strengthen the practitioners’ techniques and decision-making capacities
- Case-based discussions from Latin-America
