Tricuspid Focus Group

A referral meeting is a locally organised seminar, addressed to referring physicians with the objective of disseminating messages relevant to the referral and treatment of patients with tricuspid valve disease. It is an independent, post-graduate educational event initiated by a PCR Tricuspid Focus Group member.

  • Target audience: Cardiologists, both imagers and interventionists, and other colleagues close to patients affected by tricuspid valve disease.

Learning objectives:

  • Understand the pathophysiology, etiology, and natural history of tricuspid regurgitation.
  • Explore (and simulate) the echocardiographic diagnostic methods for tricuspid regurgitation.
  • Learn about (and simulate) the currently available interventional options for the treatment of tricuspid regurgitation, from "edge-to-edge" repair to transcatheter valve replacement.
