A referral meeting is a locally organised seminar, addressed to referring physicians with the objective of disseminating messages relevant to the referral and treatment of patients with tricuspid valve disease. It is an independent, post-graduate educational event initiated by a PCR Tricuspid Focus Group member.

Learning objectives:

  • To appreciate different TR clinical phenotypes, with focus on diagnosis, staging and management options
  • To understand the work-up of TR patients, including detailed imaging and invasive assessment with hands-on TEE and TTVI simulators
  • To learn about the latest options in transcatheter and surgical intervention for TR, with current evidence from clinical trials and case-based discussion
