Innvolution Healthcare reports one-year findings from the ALCHEMY study evaluating Eternia in 1000 patients at EuroPCR 2026

  • Prospective multicenter study across 22 centers in India reports one-year findings and imaging substudy insights from an all-comer patient population.

PARIS, France – EuroPCR 2026 – Innvolution Healthcare announced the presentation of one-year findings from the ALCHEMY study evaluating the Eternia Everolimus Eluting Coronary Stent System (EEECSS) in a real-world, all-comer patient population.

The findings were presented at EuroPCR 2026 by Dr. Upendra Kaul on behalf of the ALCHEMY Investigators.

ALCHEMY is a prospective, observational, multicenter post-market clinical follow-up (PMCF) study designed to evaluate the safety and performance of Eternia in routine clinical practice across India. The study enrolled 1000 patients across 22 centers and included a broad spectrum of patients reflecting real-world clinical practice.

The study population included patients with diverse clinical and procedural characteristics, including:

  • Diabetes Mellitus – 41.4%
  • Hypertension – 49.3%
  • STEMI – 38.8%
  • Unstable Angina – 34.3%
  • Long Lesions (>28 mm) – 44.1%

At one-year follow-up, the study reported:

  • Primary Endpoint (DOCE):
    • Device Oriented Composite Endpoint (DOCE): 1.9%
  • Secondary Outcomes:
    • Patient Oriented Composite Endpoint (POCE): 3.3%
    • Target Vessel Failure (TVF): 2.7%
    • Stent Thrombosis: 0.5%

The study also reported procedural outcomes including:

  • Device Success: 99.8%
  • Procedural Success: 98.7%

In addition to clinical outcomes, pre-selected imaging subsets involving angiographic and OCT analyses were included as part of the ongoing study to assess vessel healing and related imaging parameters.

Commenting on the study findings, Dr. Upendra Kaul, Lead Investigator, said:

"Eternia stent from Innvolution Healthcare demonstrates the characteristics expected of a newer-generation drug-eluting stent platform. The outcomes observed in a predominantly acute coronary syndrome population are encouraging and support further randomized comparative studies with comprehensive imaging assessment."

Speaking on the milestone, Innvolution Healthcare stated:

"The presentation of ALCHEMY at EuroPCR 2026 represents an important step in our continued focus on clinical research, evidence generation, and innovation in cardiovascular care."

Innvolution Healthcare expresses its gratitude to all Principal Investigators, participating centers, and study teams whose contributions supported the successful execution of the study.
