Introduction
Infection by the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV2 was first described in a cluster of pneumonia cases in Wuhan China in December of 2019. Over one year later, after 120 million cases and 2.7 million deaths around the globe, the world is a different place. The pandemic response by governments and individuals across the globe has significantly impacted how we interact with each other, how we are educated and how we work. The clinical practice of Interventional Cardiology has also changed.
This chapters seeks to provide some insights on what we experienced, what we have learned and where we go from here as we approach work and life in a post-pandemic era.
