Mirvat Alasnag interviews Cesar Herrera, Hadley Wilson & Benny Levenson, principal investigators of the GHATI trial: A two-year report of 4,015 patients enrolled in the American College of Cardiology - Global Heart Attack Treatment Initiative.
Two-year outcomes from GHATI showed significant improvements in key clinical endpoints, including cardiogenic shock upon arrival at the hospital, cardiac arrest, LVEF below 40% and survival at discharge, as a result of the program.
