Alexander Schmitz is an Investment Director at Endeavour Vision, a Geneva-based venture fund investing in growth-stage medical device and digital health companies in the U.S. and Europe. Alexander Schmitz has nearly two decades of business and strategy experience in both medical device and high-technology companies. From 2005 to 2014, he helped Biosensors International Group develop its interventional cardiology business, from less than $5 million in annual revenues to more than $300 million, most recently serving as Vice President or Business Development.

Prior to Biosensors, he worked at LogiSpring, the corporate venture fund of the TNT Post Group, and at MicroStrategy, a leading provider of business intelligence software. Alexander Schmitz began his career as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where, in addition to serving clients, he spent a year with the McKinsey Global Institute. He earned his MBA from INSEAD and a BSFS in economics, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
