Eric Le Royer
Eric Le Royer is the General Manager of Latitude MedSolutions in Geneva, Switzerland. Latitude Medical focuses on innovative therapeutic medical devices in the cardiovascular and neurology fields.
Latitude Medical’s activities span from incubation of new concepts, to support of early stage entrepreneurs setting up their business and clinical strategy, to management of critical processes in early stage and growth phases. He is the co-founder of VeoSource SA, Corasis Ltd and PhytaSwiss Ltd.
Previously, Eric Le Royer was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Endosense, acquired $330M in 2013 by St Jude Medical.
At Endosense, he led the development of a novel force sensing cardiac ablation catheter from a concept, he led to commercial stage in Europe and conducted a PMA clinical trial to access the U.S. market. Eric Le Royer worked for Guidant from 1989 to 2004.
He held various leadership positions on three continents: Cardiac Rhythm Management Director in Japan, General Manager of the Carotid and Peripheral Business Unit in California, and European Marketing Vice President.
Eric Le Royer received an M.S.E.E. from Supelec / France in 1986. He also earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Columbia University in 1989.
