Flavio L. Ribichini graduated in Medicine at the National University of Cordoba, Argentina, and board certificated in Cardiology at the University of Torino.
He trained in interventions at the University of Paris VII, Stanford University, Mount Sinai Medical School, New York and was Research Fellow of the ESC in Aalst, Belgium.
Proficient in Spanish, Italian, English, Portuguese and French.

- Full Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Verona and Director of the School of Cardiovascular Medicine and Head of the Cardiology training program and the Master in Interventions of the University.
- Director of the Heart Lung and Vascular Department of Verona Hospitals.
- Member of the Editorial Board of the EHJ and Senior Associate Editor of the International Journal of Cardiology.
- Since 2000 is member of the scientific board of PCR.
- Since 2024 is the Secretary of the EAPCI of the ESC and co-Director of the Department of Medicine.
- Co-Director of CITIC in Mexico.
- Co-Director of the PCR Rio Valves Course.
- Co-Director of the PCR Focus Group on Cardiac Mechanical Support.
ACTIVE AREAS OF RESEARCH
- In more than 30 years of interventional cardiology, education and research he has worked in coronary, peripheral, congenital and structural fields, with particular dedication to medical education and post-graduate training and has contributed to the preparation of Guidelines and Consensus Documents of the ESC.
