Procedural Analyst: N. Piazza
SHOW MORE

Summary

In this session, you will learn more about the potential technical challenges associated with second-time TAVI procedures, and the importance of detailed CT imaging and careful pre-procedural planning. Discover the latest innovations and future direction of this key area of development.

  • Live case: An 83-year-old woman with type 2 diabetes, COPD and a history of TF-TAVI with 23mm Lotus edge complicated by PPM, presented a symptomatic severe bioprosthesis valve stenosis with an 18 mm inner diameter and preserved LV function. The operators performed an Evolut FX implantation.
  • Recorded case: A 66-year-old woman with diabetes presented a symptomatic severe aortic stenosis. Watch the operators implant a DurAVR system.
