Harun Otieno

EDUCATION

Dr. Harun Otieno graduated from the University of Nairobi, and completed his medical training in 1995. He worked in Texas, USA before returning to Kenya in late 2008.

EDUCATION RESPONSIBILITIES AND MEETING ORGANISATION

Together with colleagues, Dr. Otieno has pioneered several medical meetings including The Aga Khan Annual Heart Symposium, AfricaPCR, CSI Africa, Africa STEMI Live and the Thrombosis Management in Practice. He is the current chair of the PASCAR Interventional Cardiology Task Force and nominated as the Stent – Save a Life, Country Champion for Kenya.

ACTIVE AREAS OF RESEARCH

Dr. Harun Otieno is an Interventional Cardiologist with the Africa Heart Associates. Currently based at the Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi & MP Shah Hospital, Kenya.
