EDUCATION AND AWARDS

Dr Kabir carried out his undergraduate medical training at Guy’s Hospital Medical School, where he was awarded the Hilton dissection medal. He then completed his PhD in cardiovascular research at University College London Medical School. This PhD was funded as a prestigious British Heart Foundation PhD scholarship and resulted in several publications.
Dr. Kabir specialises in percutaneous coronary intervention (coronary stents), carrying out both stable and emergency coronary angioplasty via the radial approach. In addition, Dr. Kabir is a lead member of the TAVI programme at Harefield Hospital covering assessment, preparation and undertaking of TAVI procedures.
