Nicolo Piazza, Assistant Professor to the Cardiology Division and Attending at the MUHC. Nicolo Piazza earned his medical degree at McGill University, where he subsequently completed post-graduate training in Cardiology. He completed one-year interventional cardiology clinical fellowship at the Montreal Heart Institute and two subsequent fellowships – a two-year PhD research fellowship in transcatheter valve therapies at the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, and a two-year clinical fellowship in the same domain at the German Heart Center, Munich.

Nicolo Piazza is cross-appointed between the McGill University Health Center and the German Heart Center in Munich. His clinical and research focus on valvular heart disease with particular interest in transcatheter aortic and mitral valves therapies.
