Summary

This session delves into the challenges and emerging insights in the treatment of acute coronary syndrome (ACS). It features presentations and discussions on topics such as sex-based differences in treatment and outcomes in STEMI, the use of ticagrelor de-escalation strategy in CKD patients, the outcomes of aspirin-free prasugrel monotherapy in NSTE-ACS, the role of early CABG with intraoperative hemadsorptions in patients on ticagrelor, and the assessment of drug-eluted balloon PCI and mechanical thrombo-aspiration in STEMI. The session aims to provide attendees with a deeper understanding of the evolving management strategies and considerations for optimizing outcomes in ACS patients.

Presentations available when logged in:

  • Improved health-status outcomes in older patients with MI: a FIRE substudy
  • Sex-based differences in treatment and outcomes in STEMI: insights from the ORPKI registry
  • Ticagrelor de-escalation strategy in stabilized myocardial infarction with chronic kidney disease
  • 30 days outcomes: aspirin-free prasugrel monotherapy in NSTE-ACS
  • Early CABG with intraoperative hemadsorptions in patients on ticagrelor
  • Drug eluted balloon percutaneous coronary intervention in patients presenting with STEMI
  • Assessment of scoring balloon for STEMI treated with drug-coated balloon only
  • Corporeality of mechanical thrombo-aspiration in AMI
